My School Garden
introduction :
I am a student of class IX in Kakatpur High School. There is a garden in front of my school. This is a famous garden of our area.
shape and size :
The garden of our school is oblong in shape. It is three hundred feet long and two hundred feet wide. It is tightly closed from all sides.
Fruits and Flowers:
The garden of our school is full of trees and vines. Fruits, flowers, and vegetables are plants. There is a well in the middle of the garden. The garden is divided into four parts, one part containing only flowering plants.
These are marigold, jasmine, champak, and rose plants. In the second part, there are fruit plants. These are apple, guava, papaya, banana, and coconut plants.
In the third part, there are vegetable plants like potato, brinjal, tomato, bottle gourd, pumpkin, bitter gourd, snake-gourd, bean, and arum, in the fourth part, there are spinach and other vegetables. In winter we grow cabbage and cauliflower. We also grow onions and garlic.
How we work in the garden:
The day scholars work in the garden during their 6 gardening periods. But the boarders work in the evening. We put a spade on the ground and make a bed.
We sow seeds and plant trees. We water the plants in the morning and evening. We keep the garden clean. We sell the products in the market and we give money to the school office.
Conclusion :
The garden of my school is very useful to me. Here I get an icy knowledge of gardening. Gardening gives us food and exercise. The garden of my school is very nice to see. That’s why I like it the most.
