1 Minute and 2 Minute 150 Words Short Speech on Cleanliness in English for Student Class 5,6,7,8,9 and 10

Honourable/Esteemed/President/Principal/Headmaster, respected chief guest/chief speaker/teachers, and my friends.

Today I am standing in front of you to speak a few words on the topic cleanliness.

“Cleanliness is next to God “these line is said by Mahatma Gandhi. We should be clean both externally and internally.

External cleanliness means that we should keep our clothes, body, room, house, and surrounding clean.

If we think about bad things we become attached to them and from attachment lust develops and lust thwarts and turns to rage.

For proper deity worship, according to the Vedas. the most important requirements are punctuality and clean liness.

A dirty man is usually nasty. We should not drop papers on the verandah of the school. We should throw them in a dustbin.

If there is no dustbin in the vicinity, we should keep the pa per in our pocket and when we find a dustbin. We should throw into it. We should keep our school toilets clean.

We should not spit anywhere but in a spittoon. A boy who is clean will increase the reputation of our school. A dirty boy will bring bad name to our school. Giving these views, I am concluding my speech. Thank you.
